UNITED STEELWORKERS OF AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP

SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY GRANT (SEOG)


SEOG is a federal government need-based grant available to eligible undergraduates who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who are enrolled in six or more semester hours at an educational institution participating in the program. To apply for SEOG, the student must complete and mail the FAFSA to the processor of that form. The educational institution must provide the student with additional financial assistance at least equal to the amount of this grant. Deadline is May 1st.


VETERANS ADMINISTRATION BENEFITS


Children of retired or deceased veterans may be eligible for these benefits. Visit your local Veterans' Administration Education Benefit Counselor for full details. Amounts vary with individual cases.

Eligibility: Must be a member, the son or daughter of a member or the legal ward of a member graduating from high school between the months of January and July of the current year.
