CHILDREN OF VETERANS SCHOLARSHIPS


The Children of Veterans Scholarship is a four-year consecutive tuition waiver given to natural or legally adopted children of service members who were veterans of World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam Conflict, and the Southwest Asia Conflict. Scholarship Limitations: 1) one scholarship will be given per county, per war. 2) A candidate MUST be a permanent resident of the Illinois County from which he/she applies. 3) The scholarship covers tuition for undergraduate, graduate and professional students at the Urbana, Chicago (including Medical sciences Center), and Springfield campuses.


Applications for the year 2007-2008 will be available after December 1, 2007. Applications are now available online. Please visit www.osfa.uiuc.edu and click on Forms then on the Children of Veterans Scholarship Application. Applicants need to print out the application, attach the required documents and send it to our office at the address listed on the application.
