· ALPHA KAPPA LAMBDA
The Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda offers an invitation to the young men of Illinois to apply for the "Brent Holmes High School Achievement Award." This $2,500 housing stipend is granted to incoming male freshman who intend to become new members of the fraternity. Scholarship finalists must show scholastic excellence, leadership experience and active participation in community and high school activities. Applicants are required to return the application, a one-page essay, an official high school transcript and a photo. Applications and more information are available in the scholarship file in the College Center. Deadline: March 15, 2008.
