BAILEY SCHOLARSHIPS

  • BAILEY SCHOLARSHIPS

The Fred S. Bailey Scholarships are awarded to financially needy undergraduate students with good academic standing who have demonstrated a concern for the welfare of others and for helping make our society better. This fund is for male and female undergraduate students who have been accepted for enrollment or are already enrolled. Applicants must be full-time students and must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 (C+) or better. Bailey Awards are based on need as well as on personal qualities and achievement. Applicants must apply for federal government financial aid and Illinois residents must apply for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) monetary award. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,800 for the academic year. Recipients receive their award checks at the beginning of each semester. A student may receive a maximum of eight semester awards. Reapplication must be made each year. The application and reapplication deadline is March 15th. Download the Bailey application form from the website: http://www.mathware.com/bailey, but to do so, your computer will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Please read the criteria before attempting to download the application form. If downloading fails, Send a Request via U.S. Postal Service to: The Fred S.
